These Terms and Conditions form an integral part of the purchase agreement. Any different provisions in the agreement or confirmed order specification shall prevail.
2. Products and Custom Manufacturing
ANGLE BIKES manufactures, in particular, carbon bicycle frames and may also supply related components and accessories.
Photographs, visualisations, weights and technical specifications on the website are indicative unless expressly stated otherwise. Handcrafted carbon products may display reasonable manufacturing variations, particularly in colour shade, carbon-fibre pattern, surface finish, weight and dimensions within the stated tolerances. Such variations do not constitute a defect.
A custom product means, in particular, a frame manufactured according to the Buyer’s individually selected geometry, dimensions, paintwork, component configuration, cable routing, dropouts, accessories or other specification.
The Buyer is responsible for the accuracy of all information, measurements and requirements provided. The Seller may recommend a suitable specification but is not liable for an unsuitable selection where the Buyer has supplied incorrect or incomplete information or has departed from the Seller’s recommendation.
3. Order and Formation of the Agreement
An order may be placed through the website, by email or by any other method confirmed by the Seller.
By submitting an order, the Buyer confirms that they have read these Terms and Conditions, the product specification and the price. An automatic acknowledgement of receipt does not constitute acceptance of the offer to enter into an agreement.
The purchase agreement is concluded only when the Seller expressly confirms the order, usually by email. For custom manufacturing, the agreed order specification also forms part of the agreement.
The Seller may refuse an order, particularly in the event of an obvious pricing error, material unavailability, technical infeasibility or incomplete specification. The Seller shall inform the Buyer of this without undue delay.
4. Price and Payment
Prices are stated in EURO, including VAT unless otherwise stated. Shipping charges, customs duties and other related charges will be shown before the order is submitted or in the agreement.
For custom-made frames, the Seller may require a deposit of 50% of the price. Manufacturing begins after the deposit has been received and the specification has been finally approved.
The outstanding balance is payable [before dispatch / upon collection / as individually agreed]. Ownership of the product passes to the Buyer only once the price has been paid in full.
If the Buyer requests a change to the specification after manufacturing has begun, the Seller shall advise of any effect on the price and delivery time. A change is effective only after written confirmation by both parties.
5. Delivery
The estimated manufacturing and delivery time is stated in the order confirmation. It is an estimate based on material availability and manufacturing capacity; the Seller shall promptly notify the Buyer of any material delay.
The product will be delivered using the method selected by the Buyer or agreed in the contract. Risk of damage passes to the Buyer upon receipt of the product; statutory consumer-protection rules remain unaffected.
The Buyer is advised to inspect the package upon delivery. Any visible shipping damage should be documented and reported immediately to both the carrier and the Seller.
6. Withdrawal from the Agreement
ANGLE BIKES products are manufactured to the Buyer’s individual requirements, in particular according to the selected geometry, size, paintwork, configuration, components or other technical specifications.
The Buyer acknowledges that, in the case of goods made to the Buyer’s specifications or clearly personalised, a consumer does not have the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 days without giving a reason, in accordance with Section 1837(d) of the Czech Civil Code.
An order is deemed to have entered production once the specification has been finally approved and the agreed deposit has been received. After production has begun, the order may not be cancelled or changed unilaterally unless the Seller confirms otherwise in writing.
If the Buyer cancels an order before production begins, the Seller shall refund the deposit less reasonably incurred costs connected with preparing the order, including geometry design, technical consultation, production preparation, or materials already ordered.
This provision does not affect the Buyer’s statutory rights in respect of defective performance. If a custom-made product is defective or does not comply with the approved specification, the Buyer may submit a complaint under Section 7 of these Terms and Conditions.
7. Defective Performance and Complaints
The Seller is liable for ensuring that the product is free from defects upon delivery and conforms to the agreed specification, description and usual characteristics.
A consumer may exercise rights arising from defects that appear within the period established by applicable law. Complaints may be submitted to the Seller’s complaints address or by email to [email]. The Buyer should state the order number, describe the defect, provide photographs where appropriate and indicate the preferred method of resolution.
The Seller shall issue confirmation of receipt of the complaint and process it within the statutory time limit, unless otherwise agreed with the consumer.
The following do not constitute defects: normal wear and tear; damage caused by an accident; incorrect installation; use outside the intended purpose; failure to observe torque values or service procedures; unauthorised repair or modification of the frame; or damage caused by incompatible components.
8. Safety and Use
The frame may only be used for its intended purpose, with compatible components and in accordance with the Seller’s instructions and the instructions of component manufacturers.
The Buyer must inspect the condition of the frame and components before riding. Following a crash, impact or other exceptional load, the frame must not be used until it has been inspected by a qualified service provider or the Seller.
Drilling, sanding, heat treatment, structural modifications or unauthorised repairs to a carbon frame are prohibited and may affect safety as well as rights arising from defects.
9. Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution
A consumer may contact the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce) with a request for out-of-court resolution of a consumer dispute via www.coi.cz.
10. Final Provisions
Legal relationships shall be governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. This shall not affect mandatory consumer-protection provisions.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is invalid or ineffective, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
The Seller may amend these Terms and Conditions to a reasonable extent. Agreements already concluded shall be governed by the version effective at the time they were concluded.
